Thanks for your interest in learning about my background! I was born and raised in Hong Kong and lived in England, and New York City before settling in Orange County, California.
I was trained as a graphic designer and found my path to UX design by dabbling in tech startups after graduated from college.
One of my passions is helping high school and college students in pursuing a career in art and design. I’ve worked with the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and several community colleges, universities, and high schools on developing design mentorship programs and giving speeches at events.

I gave a design lecture to the graphic design students at California State University Long Beach and San Jose State University
I partnered with the team of faculty at the Santa Monica College and created a design program for the Interactive Design students
I was consulted by the LA Chamber of Commerce to advice on developing a design education toolkit for high school and college educators. The goal is to help the underprivileged students exploring design careers in the tech industry
I spoke on a panel discussion organized by Otis College of Art & Design and Stellar Design agency and provided insights to college students and design practitioners on product design for media and entertainment
